At one time a shoemaker lived in a village    . He was very poor. He had no money at all. He only had leather for one pair of shoes.

One evening he cut the leather for his shoes. She decided to sew leather to make shoes the next morning. He went to his room and fell asleep.
The next morning he woke up and went to make shoes and saw that the shoes had already been sewn.
He was very surprised to see the pair of shoes made. He took off his shoes and began to examine them carefully.

He saw that it was sewn quite well. Not a single stitch went wrong. It was instantly proven that a skilled craftsman had sewn those shoes.

He went to the market with a pair of shoes and soon he found a buyer for the shoes. The buyer liked the pair of shoes so much that he paid a lot of money for them. The shoemaker was able to buy leather for two pairs of shoes with that money. He cuts clothes for a pair of shoes in the evening. And decided to sew shoes in the morning like last time.

He wakes up in the morning and sees two pairs of shoes ready.

He soon found buyers. They liked the boots very much and they paid a lot of money to the shoe maker, and he was able to buy leather for four pairs of shoes.

He kept the leather ready in the evening and saw if the shoes were ready in the morning.

The next morning he saw that the shoes were ready as usual. In this way a few days go by. The shoe maker's poor and hungry life came to an end.
One day the shoe maker was very interested to see his shoemaker. So he came up with an idea. He told his wife, "Listen, we're not going to sleep today. I want to see who makes my shoes."

The wife heard him say - well! All right.

He cut the cloth as usual and put it on his table. He lit a candle on the table, then he and his wife hid in a corner of the room waiting for the shoemaker.

At midnight,   some  small people  came into the room. They sat down at the shoe table and began to sew the cut leather with their little fingers.
They sewed very skillfully, the shoemaker staring at them in amazement. They worked until all the boots were sewn. When the last pair was ready, the little ones jumped off the table and disappeared instantly.

The craftsman said - small people have made us rich. We need to do something good for them. The wife said - yes so. Well if I sew each one of them a jacket, a shirt and pants and you make shoes for them, what happens? The little ones come in torn clothes, maybe they don't have any good clothes.

Her husband listened to her and said:

-Well, that's a good idea! They will surely rejoice!

And then one evening they put their gifts on the table instead of the cut leather and they hid themselves in the corner again and waited for the little ones.

Just in the middle of the night  small people came into the room as usual. They jumped on the table and found red shirts, suits and shorts on the table instead of cut leather.

At first, the little ones were surprised, and then they were very happy. They quickly danced and sang, after their beautiful suits and boots. Then the shoemaker and his wife approached them. The little ones are terrified of them. Their craftsmen say - you are not afraid. I will not harm you. I have come to thank you and to know why you help me every day.

Little people say - we live next to your house. Seeing your plight, we wanted to help you.

Hearing this, the shoe maker said- thank you very much. I gave you these gifts to help me. You don't have to sew shoes for me anymore.

The little people said, "All right." Then we go.

Then they disappeared and no longer came to sew shoes. The shoe makers also began to live happily in peace.
