There were two sparrows in a village Chiku  and Chirik They were good friends. One day Chiku received a box of gifts from his grandmother.

It was full of buckwheat . But Chiku did not say a word to his friend about it.

He thought that if he gave the buckwheat to Chirik, there would be nothing left for him. So he ate all the buckwheat alone. But when he dropped the box, a few grains fell to the ground.

Chirik found those seeds. She collected them neatly in a bag and went to her friend Chiku to share the buckwheat.

He went to Chiku and said - O Chiku, you know what happened today! Today I found ten buckwheat grains. Let's share them equally and eat together.

Chiku saw the buckwheat and Chirik asked, "Where did you get it?"
Chirik replied, "I found these in a box not far from your house." Chiku realized it was the buckwheat in the box he had given her.
Chiku said - you got it, you eat.

Chirik said - but we should share half of everything with friends and acquaintances. Isn't it?

Chiku replied, "Yes, you are right."
She felt very ashamed. Because she ate a whole box of buckwheat on her own and didn't share it with her friend, she didn't even give him a grain. But Chirik is also sharing with him the little grains he has picked up. He was very sorry in his mind.

Now rejecting a gift from a friend is an insult to him. So Chiku said with five grains:

- Thanks, Chirik! For this and for teaching me the most important thing in life, friendship.

Since then Chiku has always shared everything with Chirik.
